Die Stadtteilkoordination für Waldstadt hat sich im Namen des Netzwerk EINE Waldstadt mit Unterstützung der Volkssolidarität zum 2. Mal erfolgreich um das Ideen-Budget (ehemals BürgerBudget) der Landeshauptstadt Potsdam beworben.
Was steckt hinter dem Ideenbudget?
Oft genügt schon eine kleine Idee – verbunden mit etwas Unterstützung –, um im Stadtteil Großes zu bewirken. Mit dem Ideenbudget der Stadt Potsdam können Menschen ihre Nachbarschaft aktiv mitgestalten und zu einem lebendigen, offenen und schönen Umfeld beitragen. Ziel ist es, Projekte zu fördern, die das kulturelle, bildungsorientierte, sportliche oder soziale Leben in der Waldstadt bereichern und ehrenamtliches Engagement sichtbar machen.
Ob Straßenfest, Blumenbeet oder Theaterstück – was entsteht, gehört allen. Die Stadtteilkoordination unterstützt Euch dabei, aus Ideen konkrete Projekte zu machen.
Welche Ideen sind willkommen?
Gesucht werden Vorschläge, die das Miteinander stärken, Nachbarschaften vernetzen oder das Wohnumfeld verschönern. Beispiele dafür sind etwa:
- Nachbarschafts- oder Selbsthilfeprojekte
- Pflanz- und Gestaltungsvorhaben im Stadtteil
- Hoffeste, Straßen- oder Nachbarschaftsfeste
- kreative, kulturelle oder künstlerische Aktionen
Wichtig ist, dass die Umsetzung in der Waldstadt erfolgt.

Wie könnt ihr mitmachen?
Reicht Eure Idee bis zum 14. Februar 2026 per E-Mail oder Post bei der Stadtteilkoordination für Waldstadt ein. Das brauchen wir von dir:
- Kontaktdaten (Name, Telefon, E-Mail, Adresse)
- Konzept (kein Roman – eine halbe Seite, auf der Ihr Eure Idee und Euren Vorschlag zur Umsetzung beschreibt, genügt) und
- Geschätzte Kosten

Gefördert werden Projekte zwischen 1.000 € und 5.000€. Nicht förderfähig sind Projekte, die schon begonnen haben oder erst ab 2027 realisiert werden.
Werde Teil der Kiez-Jury
Die Auswahl der Projektideen, die umgesetzt werden sollen, findet bis zum 31. März 2026 durch eine Kiez-Jury und öffentliche Abstimmungen statt.
Wohnst Du in der Waldstadt? Dann werde Teil der Kiez-Jury und entscheide mit, welche Projekte gefördert werden. Keine Angst – es geht lediglich um 3 Treffen für je ca. 2-3 Stunden in der zweiten Märzhälfte, in denen die Auswahl und die Abstimmung über die eingereichten Projekte stattfindet.
Du kannst Dich bis zum 31. Januar 2026 formlos bei der Stadtteilkoordinatorin bewerben. Sende hierfür eine E-Mail mit Namen, Alter und Kontaktdaten (Telefonnummer und E-Mail) an stadtteilkoordination-waldstadt@volkssolidaritaet.de. Wir setzen uns mit dir in Verbindung!

The neighborhood coordinator for Waldstadt has once again successfully applied, on behalf of the Network ONE Waldstadt and with the support of the Volkssolidarität, for the Ideas Budget (formerly Citizens’ Budget) of the City of Potsdam.
What is the Ideas Budget?
Often, just a small idea—combined with a bit of support—is enough to make a big difference in a neighborhood. With Potsdam’s Ideas Budget, residents can take an active role in shaping their community and contribute to a lively, open, and beautiful environment. The goal is to support projects that enrich the cultural, educational, athletic, or social life in Waldstadt and make volunteer engagement visible.
Whether it’s a street festival, a flower bed, or a play—whatever emerges belongs to everyone. The neighborhood coordination office will help you turn your ideas into concrete projects.
What kinds of ideas are welcome?
They’re looking for proposals that strengthen togetherness, connect neighbors, or beautify the local area. Examples include:

Neighborhood or self-help projects

Planting and design initiatives in the district

Courtyard, street, or neighborhood festivals

Creative, cultural, or artistic activities
The key requirement: the project must take place in Waldstadt.

How can you participate?
Submit your idea by February 14, 2026, by email or post to the Waldstadt neighborhood coordination office. Here’s what we need from you:

Projects receiving between €1,000 and €5,000 in funding are eligible.
Projects that have already started or will only begin after 2027 cannot be funded.
Become part of the Kiez-Jury
The selection of project ideas to be implemented will take place by March 31, 2026, through a Kiez-Jury (neighborhood jury) and public voting.
Do you live in Waldstadt? Then become part of the Kiez-Jury and help decide which projects get funded. Don’t worry—it only involves about three meetings, each lasting around 2–3 hours, in the second half of March, when the jury reviews and votes on the submitted projects.
